I had to write up an “About Me” thing for work, thought I’d post it here too.
What is your favorite magazine to read?
Can I change this to “blog”? I check up on about 80 different blogs every day. Favorites include Daring Fireball, Life’s Ambrosia, and Lifehacker.
If you could have a new version of any car ever made, which one would it be?
Anything reliable, so I never have to worry about car troubles.
What is a self-indulgence you allow yourself?
I always take time to kick back, relax, and listen to an album straight through.
If you could live in another city, which would you choose?
Bergen, Norway. Similar climate to Minnesota, but less extreme in the summer and winter.
What cable channel do you most often watch?
I always watch The Simpsons and Cops, and Food Network if Good Eats or Molto Mario on.
What is your favorite high school moment?
Any class I had with Dr. Hendrickson. (History / Social Studies, Russian History).
If you could have dinner with anyone in the history of the world, who?
Can’t pick just one, so: Douglas Adams, Bertrand Russell, Richard Feynman, and Alan Turing. (Literature, Philosophy, Physics, and Computer Science, respectively.)
What idea have you had for an invention?
Ever since seeing some demonstrations of Augmented Reality, I’ve tucked that knowledge away in the back of my head, keeping it ready to develop something useful.
What do you most like to do during this season?
Fall is the best time to sit around a fire at night with friends and family and eat S’mores.
What is something very unique about you that others may not know?
I started collecting records a few years ago. I’m closing in on about 100 or so, with a specific focus on a genre, so the ones I’m looking for are bit harder to find.
