Profonde Misanthropie

Today.

Earlier Today:

Witty things I thought of but didn’t get a chance to say / it wouldn’t work:
“Trick or treating in this deer costume is sure to be a hit.” (Implying that I would get hit by a car. It doesn’t work because of that “a”, and I can’t find a way to drop it but mean both “it was popular” and “get hit by a car”.)

Witty things I did say:
During a Settlers of Catan game, someone started singing “We built this city” and I finished with “on Sheep and Ore”, since it fits the syllables, only to be reminded that you can’t build a city with one of those two.

Tonight:
Going to hang out and get cozy with my best friend in the whole world and watch scary movies and eat candy.
