Profonde Misanthropie

So, @irblindspake is getting married. Since he’s such a good friend and all, and knowing that I won’t have the money to buy a nice present, I decided to make something. But I can’t draw. Or paint. Or make other neat things. Sure, I can be creative, but there’s usually a disconnect between what’s in my head and what comes out in reality. The one thing I’m not too shabby at is woodwork. Mostly because I fret over measuring things way too much. I settled on making this wine rack for him and his soon-to-be-wife. Most of the wood is from an old entertainment center my dad built 25+ years ago. The top piece was given to my dad by his dad, taken from a disassembled 100-year-old barn somewhere in Wisconsin.
